Buying products from Little Adventure Shop is easy and secure. You can browse our products by category or by searching for a specific product or manufacturer. Once you have found the product(s) you require, you can add the product to your basket by pressing the orange ‘add to basket’ button. You can continue to shop and select products until you have finished shopping, at which point you can press the ‘proceed to checkout’ button where you can enter your details. If you are a registered user, you can login quickly and your address and billing details are already completed for you. If not, it’s a quick process to setup your details.

You can pay for your products with any of the major credit and debit cards using our payment service from SagePay. This service provides highly secure card processing services and should give you complete confidence in the security of your details. Once your payment is complete, you will receive an order confirmation email. We will then alert you again by email once your order has been despatched. If you chose to register with us, you can log in at any time to track the progress of your order. Provided that an order has not been shipped, we will endeavour to do our best to change the order if you so require.

You can place your order by telephone on 01491 681074. We are a small family company so we’re not always able to answer the phone. If we are unable to answer your call please leave your name, telephone number and details of the item(s) you wish to purchase on the answer phone and we will call you back as soon as we can to place your order. We aim to dispatch all orders either the same-day or the day after you place your order, in accordance with the delivery option you have chosen (standard, express or next day delivery). If there are any delays in dispatching your order we will contact you via phone and/or email to give you a new estimated date of delivery.

1) Deliveries within the UK
We offer three different types of delivery to the UK so you can choose how quickly you want to receive your purchases:

Standard delivery: delivery within 2 to 5 working days after order (£3.95)

Express delivery: delivery guaranteed within 2 working days of order, for orders placed before 11.30 am Monday to Friday (£7.95)

Next-day delivery: delivery guaranteed for next working day, for orders placed before 11.30 am Monday to Friday (£9.95)

We use Royal Mail or courier services to deliver your purchases. All the parcels we send can be tracked to the point of delivery. Express and next-day delivery purchases will need to be signed for upon receipt. Once your order has left our warehouse your will receive an email confirming that it is on route to you with a tracking number.

2) Deliveries to other European destinations
We offer a standard delivery service to most European countries outside the UK for £10.95 and £28.95 for large packages i.e. child carriers and bikes. All packages are sent via Royal Mail post or courier services. The postage cost will automatically be displayed after the shipping country is selected during checkout.

If the country you want us to ship to is not available to select during the checkout process please email us at information@littleadventureshop.co.uk with the exact details of the items you wish to purchase and we will email you back with a quote for shipping.

When shipping outside the UK we will keep the weight of your parcel to a minimum to keep shipping costs down for both you and us. This may mean that we remove the footwear from boxes and ship boots and shoes in bubblewrap bags. If you do not want us to do this please email us after placing your order and request that no packaging is removed.

 
We do our best to make sure that your items arrive in the best possible condition, using mailing bags, bubble wrap and cardboard boxes. We also try to balance this against the need for excessive packaging (especially plastics) and we're very mindful of our impact on the environment. 

Little Adventure Shop uses a secure on-line payment system via SagePay to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. SagePay's public web servers are secure and certified ensuring that you can have confidence that nobody can impersonate SagePay to obtain confidential information. All communication between you and SagePay is encrypted using 128 bit Secure Socket Layer technology to ensure the maximum safety of your credit card information. You can check this at any time by looking for the ‘padlock’ symbol within your browser. We do not store or capture any credit card details within Little Adventure Shop. Little Adventure Shop has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. We try to include both the manufacturer’s original descriptions as well as our own opinion on the product. We believe that this helps you to select the right item for your needs. Orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website.

All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where applicable (many of the products are exclusively for children and are therefore exempt of VAT). Where weights, dimensions and capacities are given they are an approximation only. If we identify a material difference between a manufacturer’s stated measures and actual measures, we will try and identify and explain this where possible.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.

You may not modify, distribute or re-post something on this website for any purpose. We believe that your privacy is extremely important. You do not need to register with us in order to browse or shop and you only need enter personal details in order to have products delivered. We want you to feel secure in all your activities with us and have done everything we feel possible to ensure that your shopping experience is safe and secure. Any information that you choose to give us will be collected lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We do not give out your details to anybody else for any purpose.

Your credit card details are collected by our payment processor: Protx, however this is to facilitate payment and nothing further. We use ‘cookies’ on this site to help you keep track of your shopping basket and make the shopping process more pleasurable for you. At any point you can turn of cookies and/or delete the Little Adventure Shop cookie. We do not store any details for tracking purposes. Please refer to your internet-browser’s help files to facilitate this.

Little Adventure Shop stocks and sells equipment that can be used for adventure sports. These sports can be dangerous and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to learn and understand the correct techinques associated with the safe participation in these sports and activities. Regardless of the skill level of the participant, it is never possible to entirely eliminate all risks and participating in these sports can lead to personal (or third-party) injury or death. By purchasing products from Little Adventure Shop the purchaser accepts and assumes all risks, damages, injury or death which may result from the use of products purchased from this site.
