Thank you for choosing to visit Little Adventure Shop……here is how it all started.

 

We met climbing in the Peaks. Our first date was mountain biking the West Highland Way – you get the picture…… we like it wet and muddy and we love just to get outdoors. Outside of work all our spare time in our 20’s was spent either mountain biking, climbing or paddling. I was a semi-pro mountain biker running round the country competing in the National Series and Simon was pouring over the weather forecasts deciding whether to pack rock boots or buoyancy aids for the weekend trip.

 

Then, we had a baby………

 

Life changed overnight: Packing just to take the new born baby to the shops seemed to take as long as packing for climbing/biking/paddling weekends and where had all our time gone? After a few weeks the baby haze started to clear, Simon went out shopping and came back with a 12ft boat! So now we had a means of getting outdoors and having an adventure “as a family”…… but then it occurred to us that our baby needed some proper kit, not something you buy at the local shops: Just where can you buy a lifejacket for a 10 week old baby?

 

This was the light bulb moment when we started to talk about what would eventually become the Little Adventure Shop. We wanted to offer parents like us, who wanted to take their family outdoors and beyond the playground an online store that exclusively stocked quality kit and clothing for kids…and so a few months later Little Adventure Shop was born.

 

We are a small business, we stock brands that we like, we use and we trust. We want to give you a choice of products to purchase, thrash and then hand down to the next in line. If you like what you see please tell your friends and then get off the computer and have some fun with your kids!
