The E-lite is a super lightweight and compact emergency headtorch from Petzl.

 

It provides enough light to allow easy movement in the dark: shines up to 19 m, and can provide up to 4 consecutive nights of lighting (45 hours).  It has several easy to use settings; white, white strobe, red, red strobe. The light beam can be aimed where needed: light source swivels 360°. It can be worn on the head, around the wrist or neck or attached to thin-edged objects (i.e. tent fabric) with integrated clip.

 

Technical specifications

An awesome bit of kit, I saw the preview photos but was shocked when I got my hands on the E-Lite for the first time. It is seriously compact and weighs next to nothing yet still provides loads of light. The storage case is only about 8 x 4 x 2 cm, it is tiny!

 

You can store an E-lite in the bottom of your rucksack, Camelback, school bag........so you'll never get caught without a light to get home. The elastic headband is really versitile. The E-Lite an be attached to your rucksack, bike bars, arm, helmet etc. it is just brilliant!
